NATIONAL LIVESTOCK MISSION (NLM)

CENTRALLY SPONSORED SCHEME: EDEG COMPONENT

1. ELIGIBILITY Entrepreneurs/Eligible Entities meeting the requirements as per the scheme guidelines.
2. PURPOSE Financing facility aimed towards employment generation, entrepreneurship development, increase in per animal productivity and thus targeting increased production of meat, goat milk, egg and wool under the umbrella scheme development programme
3. EXTENT OF LIMIT/ LOAN Need based credit facility
4. SUBSIDY Capital subsidy maximum up to 50% of the Project cost or Rs. 50.00 Lakh depending upon the activity.
5. SECURITY
  • Primary – Hypothecation of assets created out of Bank loan.
  • Collateral – As per Bank’s extant guidelines
  • Coverage under CGTMSE is applicable.
6. MARGIN Minimum 10%
7. RATE OF INTEREST* Starting from 11.00% p.a
