| 1. | ELIGIBILITY | All farmers including small & marginal farmers, tenant farmers, oral lessees, sharecroppers, agriculture labourers, etc., who are indebted to non-institutional money sources. |
| 2. | PURPOSE | Purpose of the scheme is to provide finance to the farmers to redeem their outstanding dues to moneylenders. |
| 3. | EXTENT OF LIMIT | Need based credit against their indebtedness from money lender with a maximum of Rs.1,00,000/- per farmer |
